1. Written Examination

• The Examination Will Consist of Obejective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).The Question Will Set in English Language Only.
• There will be nagative Marking For each Wrong Answer to the extent of one-Fourth marks assigned to that questions.

Subjects

• Numerical and Mathematical Ability - 20 Questions - 60 Marks
• General Awareness - 25 Questions - 75 Marks

2. Physical Standard Test (PST)

For Male Candidates :

• Height - 5'-6" (Minimum)
• Chest girth - 32" (unexpandent)
• Chest girth - 33 ½ " (expandent)

For Female Candidates :

• Height - 5'-2" (Minimum)

Relaxation In Physical Standard :

• For the candidates belonging to the Gorkha Community and Bot Tribe, the minimum Height shall be relaxable by 2″.

3. Physical Endurance Test (PET)

• For Male candidates: Long Race: 1600 meters in 6 ½ minutes (Six minutes thirty seconds)
• Pushups: 20 (one cycle of up and down to be counted as one)
• For Female candidates: Long Race: 1000 meters in 6 ½ minutes (Six minutes thirty seconds)
• Shot Put (4Kgs): 14 ½ feet in three attempts.
